Accessibility Statement

Effective August 1, 2026 · Last updated August 1, 2026

DVR Digital LLC, doing business as SafetyClinic.app, wants every safety professional to be able to use this product, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. Safety information should never be less available to the people responsible for it because of a disability.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, across the SafetyClinic.app website and the web, mobile, and desktop applications. WCAG 2.2 AA is also the reference standard most U.S. organizations use when evaluating software under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finish line. We review new features against this standard as we build them and audit the product against it before releases.

What we do

  • The applications are built on a framework that integrates with platform assistive technologies, including VoiceOver (iOS/macOS), TalkBack (Android), and desktop screen readers on the web.
  • The marketing website uses semantic HTML with labeled navigation, text alternatives for meaningful images, and no third-party trackers or scripts that interfere with assistive technology.
  • We design for sufficient color contrast, visible focus, text scaling, and touch targets large enough to use reliably.
  • Color is not the only carrier of meaning: pass/fail states, priorities, and statuses are labeled in text as well as color.
  • Documents the product generates (inspection reports, drill logs) are produced as text-based PDFs, not images of text.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you where we fall short than pretend we don't:

  • The evacuation map editor is a visual drawing surface and is not yet practical to operate with a screen reader. The maps it produces are intended for printed and posted use.
  • Charts and dashboards convey trends visually; we are working on textual equivalents. The underlying records are always available as accessible lists and exports.
  • Documents uploaded by your organization (safety data sheets, floor plans, certificates) are third-party files and may not be accessible. For safety data sheets, the product extracts key information (hazard class, signal word, hazard statements, protective equipment) into accessible text alongside the original PDF.

Feedback and help

If any part of SafetyClinic.app is difficult or impossible for you to use with assistive technology, we want to know, and we will try to fix it or provide the information you need another way.

Email support@safetyclinic.app with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Please tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use. We aim to respond within five business days.

Compatibility

SafetyClinic.app is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, and with the built-in assistive technologies of current iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Older browsers and operating systems may not provide the same experience.

About this statement
